The local buses will carry you into Almería City centre where you can catch other buses or trains to go further a-field or simple stay in the town and enjoy the many shops, bars, restaurants, museums, Cathedral and the Alcazaba, etc. Having your own car will make visiting other villages and towns much easier. From May to Oct the Water Park in Vera is open, The OASYS Mini Hollywood and Zoo is open all year round and is a good fun day out.
